Join us for a post-show talkback about BAME experience in society and theatre, as we join a panel of Asian artists to discuss what it means to be "Asian." With Artistic Director Kumiko Mendl of Yellow Earth Theatre, THERE OR HERE director and producers Vik Sivalingam, Anita Singh, and Kevin Shen, we explore the experience of theatre practitioners spanning a range of Asian backgrounds - British East Asian, South Asian expat, Mixed Race British South Asian, and Asian-American.

An open conversation after this performance will be held by Bechdel Theatre.
All audience members are welcome to join for a chance to share your responses to the themes of the play in relation to gender, feminism and representation in a relaxed an informal discussion group.
Bechdel Theatre is a campaign which uses the Bechdel test to talk about representation on stage. The test asks: are there two female characters, and do they talk to each other about something other than a man?
Bechdel Theatre has hosted post-show conversations at theatres across London since 2016 (including The Bunker, The Finborough, Theatre503 and Wyndham's), celebrating plays which pass the test with flying colours.
