Biographies 

Cindy-Jane Armbruster

Cindy trained at LAMDA and East15 (BA Contemporary Theatre), after a previous career in academia and as a translator. Now she’s working in the UK and internationally in all forms of acting, ranging from classical drama, cabaret, film and new writing. She’s just returned from Switzerland where she was Persephone in a German translation of Charlotte Jones’ play Airswimming.

Other credits include Penthesilea (Playades), Woman in the Moon (Dolphin’s Back), Henry V (Carl Heap), and various new plays and films with Lucy Skilbeck, Alex Murdoch, Nick Cohen, Alexander Zeldin. As a member of Equity Deaf and Disabled Members Committee, Cindy works towards improving industry conditions for Deaf and disabled actors.

George Johnston

George trained at Drama Centre London after graduating from Cambridge University with a Double First in History and English.

Theatre includes: Testimony (Etcetera Theatre), Nights (White Bear Theatre), Frankenstein (Karamel Club).

Short Film includes: I Am Henry, Mr Stitch, Removed.

TV includes: Clay’s P.O.V, Travels With Sherlock.

Film includes: “Nightingale”, Twelfth Night.

Gareth Bennett-Ryan

Gareth is from Grimsby where he worked as a carpet fitter before training as an actor for 3 years at the Birmingham School of Acting. He is currently on tour with London Classic Theatre playing Stanley in The Birthday Party. Other theatre credits include Macbeth, As You Like It (Shakespeare's Globe); Farm Boy (New Perspectives); The History Boys, Macbeth (Mercury Theatre Colchester); Sons of Bond (Haymarket); Dick Whittington, Mother Goose (Theatre Royal Bury St Edmunds); Anthony and Cleopatra, Much Ado (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival); The Generation of Z: Apocalypse (Site specific); Gleam (Writers Ave/The Pleasance) and NewsRevue, the worlds longest running comedy sketch show.

Screen credits include: Word on the Street, Shakespeare Uncovered (BBC), Arthur and Merlin (Movieworks), Mercenaries (ABS), Woodfalls (Tales from the Motherland), Seventh Soldier, From This Day(fireinthehole).He is also an audiobook narrator.

Charlotte Worthing 

Charlotte trained at The Oxford School of Drama.

Patrick Romer

Theatre: Many prods for the RSC ('01 - '13), most recently A Life of Galileo, which was re-mounted by Birmingham Rep for a 4-week tour ('14). Other theatre includes: Punchdrunk; Bristol Old Vic; Lyric Hammersmith; Coventry Belgrade; National Theatre; Cheek by Jowl; and nearly 70 prods for Exeter Northcott ('82 - '2000).

Film & TV includes: Ray ( Jacqui Davies Ltd: an art film based on photographs by Turner Prize nominee Richard Billingham ); The World is Not Enough ( Eon Prods ); Primeval (ITV); Casualty (BBC); Rebecca (Carlton), etc..

Patrick is also a regular reader for BBC Radio 4's Poetry Please.

Kelechi Okafor

Kelechi studied Musical Theatre at The BRIT School of Performing Arts. Thereafter she travelled up north to study Drama & Theatre Studies with Law at Liverpool Hope University. Over the years she has continued to have a close relationship with theatre companies such as C54 Theatre Company and Papercut Theatre. Kelechi’s favourite piece of work thus far has been reading as Doreen Lawrence in a rehearsed reading of Hidden Stories by Dr Richard Stone. 

Kelechi loves to explore the dynamics of acting and strives to grow within the art form. When Kelechi isn't acting, she is a Personal Trainer and dance instructor.
