Biographies

Alethea Steven | Nelly Moore

Alethea read Ancient History at Exeter University and is a postgraduate of Oxford School of Drama. This is Alethea’s fifth ACS Random production having played Jules in The Shakespeare Conspiracy,  Desdemona in Othello and Snug in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Chelsea Theatre).  Other theatre roles include: Rosaline in Romeo & Rosaline, Brighton Fringe, Antigone in Antigone (Bridewell). Gabrielle in Trainspotting, in the Sitcom Trails (Leicester Square Theatre). TV includes: Anne Roebuck in Under the Greenwood Tree (ITV1), PC Sue Reece in Torn (ITV1).  

 

 

 

Alexandra Parry | Annette

Theatre includes Snow White, Evita (YATI) and devised work for Teatro Monteumuro. TV includes The Bill (ITV), Roison (Channel 4) and a number of commercials. Voiceover work includes Camden Town, Gymnasium 3 (TEFL Audio), Lil Lets (Shine Films), Greater Expectations (Quince Films).

 

 

 

 

Andrew Shepherd | Henry Irving/Mathias

Andrew trained at LAMDA. Angela Ferns | Ellen Terry

Angela’s credits include Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream (Teahouse Theatre); Michelle in Character (Tristan Bates); Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing (Park Theatre); Ophelia in Hamlet (Dalston Bunker); Beatrice in the Off West End nominated Grassroots Shakespeare production of Much Ado About Nothing; Lady Cora Groan in Gormenghast (Actors’ Church); The Queen of Hearts inAlice in Wonderland and ensemble in The Hunting of the Snark for Blackshaw Theatre. Whilst training she also performed as Viola in Twelfth Night (Hen & Chickens); Amy in Grace (Riverside Studios); Thea in Hedda Gabler and Florence in Spring and Port Wine. 

 

 

 

Garry Summers | Bram Stoker/Christian

Garry trained at Central. Credits include CasualtyRiver CityThe Royals and The Escape Artist. He played Benedick in the 2013 ACS Random production of Much Ado About Nothing at Park Theatre.

 

 

 

 


John-Paul Conway | George Bernard Shaw/Mesmerist

John-Paul graduated from East 15 Acting School earlier this year. He has performed onstage at the Brockley Jack Studio Theatre, Camden People's Theatre and Cockpit amongst others. He has also written and performed why that and not this? with theatre company Spit 'n' Polish at the mac in Birmingham and The Hope Theatre in Islington. 

 

 

 

 

Lynsey-Anne Moffat | Mary Brodribb/Catherine

Lynsey-Anne graduated from the RSAMD (now RCS) in 2011.  Credits include The Angels' Share,  Assassins Creed: Black Flag, Outlander, Hector, Doctors, Casualty and Eastenders.  Lynsey-Anne or L-A (but please, never Lynsey!) also holds an MA in French and Hispanic Studies from the University of Aberdeen, is a keen badminton player and swimmer, enjoyer of fine wine and has a soft spot for 1970s American detective shows, particularly Columbo

 

 

 

 

Richard Woolnough | Leopold Lewis/Hans

Following a mixed career as Royal Military Policeman, publican, nightclub doorman, Lloyds broker, market trader, window cleaner and driving instructor, Richard eventually grew up and got a proper job. He trained with The Actors Company at The London Centre for Theatre Studies graduating in 2001. Since then he has performed in a wide variety of stage, TV and film productions and still does a bit of window cleaning on the side. He also sews on all his own sequins!

 

 

 

 

Rosemarie Lovegrove | Sozel

Rosemarie is a graduate from American Theatre Arts at Rose Bruford College. Growing up in North Wales she was a member of the National Youth Theatre of Wales and Act Out at Theatre Clwyd. Credits include The Space Play (The Shady Dolls); Welcome Home (Infinite Experience); Doctor Faustus (Pandemonium). She is currently working in the spectator performance team for the Rugby World Cup.

 

 

 

 

 

Rosie Frecker | Florence O’Callaghan

Rosie trained at East 15 Acting School. Credits include Oedipus (Almeida Greek Season); Ensemble Leopardess (Canal Cafe) Ensemble; Dealanach (Vault Festival); Woman, Cause and Effect (Etcetera); The Voice, The Land in My Blood (Horse and Stables); The HairdresserThe Plebeians Rehearse in The Uprising (Cockpit, directed by David Mercatali).

 

 

Simon Blake | The Clerk/President of the Court

Simon trained at Drama Studio London, and is a winner of the BBC’s Carleton Hobbs Radio Drama group commendation.  His previous theatre credits include: Shakespeare’s Sister (Theatre Royal Haymarket), Dracula (Criterion Theatre), Comedy of Errors (Rain or Shine Theatre Co.), Dear Brutus (New Diorama), As You Like It (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival) and Measure for Measure (Darker Arts Theatre Co.).  Other credits include Doctor Who audio adventures (Big Finish, BBC Radio 4 Extra), Professor Pop in “Science Goes Pop!” (Pop TV), Oedipus (Audioscribble) and Hollyoaks (Mersey TV). 

 

 

 

 

Will Seaward WH Chippendale/Father Walther

Described by critics as “part Brian Blessed, part Oscar Wilde, part crazed Victorian Music Hall MC” (The Telegraph) Will is a comedian and Off West End Award-nominated actor. Will’s comedy work has included three five-star solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, two of which have toured nationally - and most recently has seen him attempting to create the legendary Philosopher’s Stone in Will Seaward Has a Really Good Go at Alchemy (Telegraph’s ‘What to See 2015’). Will’s recent theatre work includes tours to theatres including the London Southbank Centre, the West Yorkshire Playhouse, the Leicester Curve, and Dubai’s Madinat Theatre, and productions at Wilton’s Music Hall, the Minack Theatre, the Tristan Bates Theatre and the Space. Will has is also a professional storyteller, is a regular cast member of Comedians Cinema Club (Time Out Critics Choice since February), has worked extensively with the Cambridge Footlights (including directing the 40th Footlights Panto, ‘The Pied Piper’), sings sea shanties in his spare time, and once directed a production of Hamlet staged entirely on a Bouncy Castle.
