Biographies

 

David R. Butler studied acting at Paul McCartneys LIPA. Since graduating he has worked internationally in film and theatre. He took the lead as Jacob in the bilingual Play Titrai/Subtitles at the National Theatre, Lithuania, Tommy in Airport at the Roundhouse Camden, Oswald in Alfred Enochs reimagining of Henrik Ibsens Ghosts UK tour, Sebastian in Twelfth Night at the RSC Dell Festival, and most recently George Tesman in the feature film of Hedda Gabler 2014 with Aspect Films. David is also a big supporter of LGBT theatre and film having featured in the short "The Perfect Kiss" by Art-haus Films and the UK premiere of Mysterious Skin.

 

 

 

 

Stephen Connery-Brown originally hails from Australia. He has resided in London for over 10 years. He trained at East 15 Acting School. Recent stage performances include the role of Shylock in The Merchant of Venice for Malachite Theatre,  Pericles directed by Drew Mulligan at the Drayton Theatre, Josefino in Second Skin Theatre's La Chunga at the Phoenix Artist Club and The Man in Catalan playwright Josep M. Benet i Jornet's UK premiere of Desig (Desire) at the White Bear Theatre. Also Sir Peter Teazle in Jessica Swale's production of A School for Scandal. Other work includes theatre-in-education, corporate videos, commercials, short films and radio.

 

 

 

Alexander Hulme's previous performances in theatre include Tender is the night (The Lord Stanley); The Gay Naked Play (Above the Stag Theatre); The Winter's Tale (The Rose Theatre Bankside); Jumpers (The Tabard Theatre); Still Life (The White Bear); Squatters (The Southwark Playhouse) and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (The Cockpit). TV includes Gracie! Holby City and Hotel Babylon. FIlms credits include Arguing (NBJRL FIlms); Rhythm & Blues (Shatterproof Productions); The Very Last Resort (Popscience) and special action work in Snow White & the Huntsman (Dark Mirror Films) and Avengers Age of Ultron (Marvel Studios).

 

 

 

 

Paul Lavers made his professional debut at 13 years of age, in a BBC Children's Radio series on the Home Service with The Adventures of Clara Chuff, which featured actors including Johnny Morris. After getting his A Levels – thanks to the Christian Brothers – he trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic school. His extensive theatre work includes the Manchester Library Theatre, the Bristol Old Vic, Leicester Haymarket, West Cliff. He's recently played an American Actor turned politician in the European Premiere of Other Desert Cities at Vienna's English Theatre.

Paul also spent many happy years working on BBC radio 4 Drama, including many Thomas Hardy adaptations. His TV work includes: The Onedin Line, Dickens of London, Doctor Who, Moll Flanders,Wings, When the Boat Come In, The Wilde Alliance, The Treasure of Abbot Thomas, 9/11 State of Emergency, and most recently DoctorsFeature films include: Photoshoot with John Altman (Nasty Nick from EastEnders), The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box with Michael Sheen, and soon to be released SuperBob with Catherine Tate.

Paul has his own One Man Show playing David Niven (whom he once had tea with), first seen at the Edinburgh Festival in 2007 then reprised in November 2010 in London and onboard the Fred Olsen cruise ship Boudicca, somewhere in the Mid-Atlantic.

Paul is in Panto this year at Lincoln Theatre Royal playing the King in Jack and the Beanstalk staring Cannon and Ball.

Emily Loomes graduated from Rose Bruford Drama School in September 2013. Whilst training Emily represented the school at the Sam Wanamaker Festival at the Globe and in her final year took on the roles of Freya in Earthquakes in London and Viola in Twelfth Night.

Soon after graduating Emily worked for The Royal Shakespeare Company on a Research and Development project entitled Juliet, Her Mother and Her Nurse and then went on to  play Juliet in Shooting Star's Open Air production of Romeo & Juliet.

 Emily is very excited to be taking on the role of Candice in Giant Cherry's production of The Glass Protege

 

 

Roger Parkins trained at East 15 Acting school.  His theatre credits include San Domino at The Arcola, Catnip at The Arts Theatre, Sherlock Holmes at The Leicester Square Studio theatre and The Kings Head, Next Time I’ll Sing to You at The Orange Tree Theatre.  





 

 

Sheena May trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Her credits include:

NYC Theatre credits include Dear Brutus (Wings Theatre), Machinal (Lincoln Center Lab), Ivanov, Love’s Labour’s Lost (Circle in the Square), Bender Gender Straight and Neutered (Transport Group), Alcestis, Five Women Waiting (Manhattan Theatre Source), Next to Nothing (New York Fringe Festival).

US credits include I Capture the Castle (Shakespeare Theatre of NJ), Taming of the Shrew, Coriolanus, Pericles, Pirates of Penzance (Virginia Shakespeare Festival), Anything Goes, Damn Yankees (Long Beach Musical Theatre).

TV and Film credits include Boardwalk Empire, Tea and Cake, A Christmas with Dan.

Mary trained at Circle in the Square Theatre in NYC.
