Sadie Spencer I Director

Sadie trained as a director at Birkbeck University. She was on attachment to West Yorkshire Playhouse as Resident Trainee Director and is Artistic Director of Greenlight Theatre. Sadie was a JMK Award finalist in 2017.

Directing credits include: Cautionary Kate (King's Head Theatre); Albee Vector the Sound Collector (tour with House Theatre Network, Bristol Old Vic); Seeing Double (Pleasance, Camden People's Theatre). 

Associate credits include: What's in a Name (Birmingham Rep, Jeremy Sams); Outside Mullingar (Ustinov Studio, Sam Yates); Cosmic Trigger (Camp and Furnace, Daisy Campbell).

Assisting credits include: Jungle Book (West Yorkshire Playhouse, Liam Steel); Of Mice and Men (West Yorkshire Playhouse, Mark Rosenblatt); Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (James Brining, West Yorkshire Playhouse and Royal Exchange Manchester).

She is also the writer of DugOut Theatre's recent shows, Sunset Five (Hull Truck) and Swansong (Arcola).
