Shaun Kitchener | Writer & ‘Matt’

Positive is Shaun's first full-length play. One-act productions include Caravan, It Never Rains (both White Bear Theatre) and One Night Stand (Edinburgh Fringe), while various shorts have been staged at London theatres including Waterloo East, Rosemary Branch, Hen & Chickens and Bread & Roses. Shaun is a former member of the Royal Court Young Writers' Programme and the Soho Theatre Writers’ Lab. He was also nominated for the 2014 Offie Award for Most Promising New Playwright. Journalism includes V.Point, Telegraph, Mirror, Holy Moly! and EntertainmentWise; and he also produces, writes for and acts in the regular scratch night Briefs via his theatre company, West Avenue. Other acting includes Christmas Monologues (Bread & Roses), Soggy Brass (Hen & Chickens), One Night Stand, Chamber Music (both Edinburgh Fringe) and Big Love (Union Chapel, Norwich). 

 

Harry Burton | Director

Harry trained as an actor at Central and as a director with BBC TV. Directing credits include The Dumb Waiter (Trafalgar Studios), Quartermaine’s Terms (Tour), I Found My Horn (Chichester & Trafalgar Studios), The Leisure Society (Trafalgar Studios), Casualties (Park 90), Barking in Essex (Wyndham’s) and Parzival (Sharpham House). He is about to direct Harold Pinter’s Ashes To Ashes, starring Dame Harriet Walter, for BBC Radio. Harry has directed two films: Thinspiration (Channel 4) and Working With Pinter (Channel 4).

 

Ann Pinnington | Producer

Ann Pinnington was Associate Director/Producer at the New End Theatre London where she produced many plays including From The Hart.  She was Co-Artistic Director at the Kings Head Theatre, working on many of their productions including Cavalcade, You Can't Take it With You, Stairway to Heaven, Pageant, Ghosts, Journey's End and many more.  She was Director of Theatre Royal Presentations, Bath and HCS Productions London, and worked extensively with Portman Theatrical Productions who produced 64 number one tours including Killing of Sister George with Beryl Reid, The Wimslow Boy with Marius Goring and the first production of The Seven Year Itch. Many of these transferred to the West End including the acclaimed production of Jungle Book and the award winning When We Are Married. Her overseas work includes Off Broadway and Aspen Festival productions.  Recently she produced two plays by Anton Burge at the Arts Theatre: A Storm In A Flower Vase and the acclaimed Bette and Joan starring Anita Dobson and Greta Scacchi, which subsequently toured the UK in association with Mark Goucher.  She has just co-produced the touring stage version of The Kings Speech starring Jason Donavan.  

 

Marcio Andrey Santarosa | Designer

A Set and Costume Designer who recently graduated from Wimbledon College of Arts/ University of Arts London. Recent credits include The Picture Of Dorian Gray, The Dead Shepherd (both White Bear Theatre), Strangers Welcome (Tabard Theatre) and Overture, a festival of short musicals at Tristan Bates Theatre, in collaboration with Goldsmiths University.

 

Nic Farman | Lighting Designer

Andy Hinton | Sound Designer

Christopher Corner | General Manager 

A freelance theatre company administrator and production manager for over 20 years, Chris has managed productions for many of the major new writing companies including Foco Novo, Joint Stock, Bristol Express, Paines Plough, Bright Red, Moving Theatre, The Half Moon, Lifeblood Theatre and Opera Machine. Also work with York Early Music Festival, Leicester Haymarket, Sheffield Crucible, Royal Court and the Royal Opera House. He project manages The Wrestling School, a company that tours the work of Howard Barker in Europe. He is currently general managing work for Kali Theatre, Yellow Earth Theatre, Sean Graham Dance and Andy Jordan Productions.
