Biographies

 

Brad Fraser is an awardwinning writer and director who has worked in theatre, television and film. His plays include Unidentified Human Remains and the True Nature of Love (Evening Standard Award for Most Promising Playwright), Poor Super Man and True Love Lies.  For television, he has written for Queer As Folk USA and for film, he has written Love and Human Remains and Leaving Metropolis.  

 

Braham Murray is a Founding Artistic Director of the Royal Exchange Theatre Company for whom he directed over 70 productions, most recently Wonderful Town, 50@50 (by Brad Fraser), The Bacchae, Charley’s Aunt, Haunted and The Glass Menagerie (both with Brenda Blethyn), True Love Lies (by Brad Fraser).  Braham Murray has directed several other Brad Fraser plays including the world premières of Snake in Fridge and Cold Meat Party.  His other directing credits include Uncle Vanya (with Tom Courtenay and Amanda Donohoe), The Good Companions (with John Mills and Judi Dench), The Cabinet Minister (with Maureen Lipman), Hamlet (with Robert Lindsay), Waiting for Godot (with Max Wall and Trevor Peacock), Maybe (with Vanessa Redgrave), Othello (with Paterson Joseph and Andy Serkis).  He was also Artistic Director of the Century Theatre and Founding Director of ’69 Theatre Company.
