Simon was Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse in 2012 where he worked on productions including Richard II, Inadmissable Evidence, Anna Christie, Schiller’s Luise Miller, Moonlight, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He was Staff Director at the National Theatre and Creative Associate at the Bush Theatre.

 

DAVID AULA l DIRECTOR

David and Simon created The Vanishing Man and performed it to sell-out audiences at Vault Festival and on tour with House Theatre. He also worked with Simon on Madness in Valencia (Trafalgar Studios); The Misanthrope (White Bear Theatre) and Shawshank Redemption (Secret Cinema). With writer Jimmy Osborne, he co-created the adaptation of Ian McEwan’s The Cement Garden (Vault 2014); the award-winning Maisie Says She Loves Me (Paines Plough Roundabout) and MEAT (Theatre 503). 

David directed the ‘lost’ John Osborne play, Personal Enemy, taking it from the White Bear Theatre, London to Theater59E59, New York. He has developed a number of interactive immersive experiences with Heritage Arts Company. His next production is The Rain God with Pronk!. David is Creative Director at React, a global learning company.
