Islington Community Theatre in association with Park Theatre presents

Brainstorm

Created by Ned Glasier, Emily Lim and the company

You say to me, your brain is broken. It’s like an adult’s brain that doesn’t work properly yet.
Don’t worry, you say. One day you’ll be ok. One day you’ll be just like me.
I don’t say anything. I pick up my plate, put it in the kitchen and go upstairs.

A fearless company of young people from Islington explore the workings of the teenage brain in this deeply moving and life-affirming piece of theatre. Created with leading cognitive neuroscientist, Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, Brainstorm is a thrilling exploration of the most frustrating, chaotic and exhilarating changes that will ever happen to us.

One of the most powerful plays I have ever seen… every parent (and teenager) should see it.
– Audience Member, 2013

Reminds us that teenagers and their brains harbour remarkable potential to change the world.
