Ian McKellen Art Auction till 16 July

10 July 2017

There is still time to bid online on authentic, one of a kind artwork personally donated and signed by Ian McKellen.

Ian McKellen first visited Park Theatre was a building site, and he has actively been championing our vibrant North London venue ever since. Regularly seen at galas and press nights, last week here appeared here on stage for a strictly limited run of performances of his new one-man show Shakespeare, Tolkien, Others & You to help raise money for the theatre. Park Theatre is a registered charity (number 1137223) that recieves no public subsidy for core costs - we're hugely grateful not only to Ian for his unparalleled support, but to everyone who bought a ticket to the show, purchased a programme or a bottle of wine to help support us.

There is still time to bid in our online auction to take home a one of a kind piece of theatre history from Ian's personal collection - all the proceeds from the auction are for the benefit of Park Theatre. All items will be signed by Ian, making them even more special.

If you missed them during your visit, check out the remarkable array of posters, photographs, drawings and watercolours that represent a variety of characters throughout Ian’s illustrious career.
