Park Players Reminiscence Spring/Summer 2018

16 April 2018 - 02 July 2018

What It Is
A free weekly course for those affected by dementia and their carers. Each week we have social time together with tea and sandwiches to round off the session.

Who It’s For
This course is designed for both types of participants - those who are affected by dementia and those who care for a person affected by dementia (whether a family member or personal assistant. Most beneficial for early onset dementia - but we can also accept later stages - please discuss with us in your sign up email.)

Course content
Lead by our specialist drama teachers we will explore: theatrical ideas, your imagination, multi-sensory and other techniques for connection.

Goal
The workshop will enhance well-being, communication (including non-verbal), playfulness, collaboration and having fun. It is a place to feel supported and relaxed.

Public Performances
There will be an end of course performance open to friends, family and public. Please email [email protected] to book your free ticket.
