What It Is
A free weekly session for those affected by dementia and their carers. Each week we have social time with a hot or cold drink in the cafe, a chance to relax, chat and get to know the group.
 

Who It’s For
This course is designed for both types of participants - those who are affected by dementia and those who care for a person affected by dementia (whether a family member or personal assistant. Most beneficial for early onset dementia - but we can also accept later stages - please discuss with us in your sign up email. 

Course content
Lead by our specialist drama teachers we will explore: theatrical ideas, your imagination, multi-sensory and other techniques for connection.

Goal
The workshop will enhance well-being, communication (including non-verbal), playfulness, collaboration and having fun. It is a place to feel supported and relaxed. 

Public Performances
There will be an end of course performance  open to friends, family and public. Please email [email protected] to book your free ticket.

Volunteers
We are also looking for volunteers to engage with the project and become a buddy for the participants.
