As we analyse and refine our mission and objectives and finesse the wording, we distill things to their upmost honest core. What stands out – as soon you will see – is a commitment to drawing in new audiences (not exclusively young, but much of our education programme will lie there) and to nurturing that community.
Earlier today we met with a company to go through their tender return and to knock down some sums. Just like working on our mission statement, this process of refining the budget, cost engineering and fine tooth combing is not a quick procedure – and it’s one that needs to be done carefully and meticulously in order to ensure there are neither omissions nor duplications and that there will be coordination between all trades. Once again we must strip down to the honest core.
