RETURNING TO PLACES FAMILIAR

by Jez Bond

More tenders out today and a very supportive email from an Islington councillor assisting us with some ‘street’ issues – I refer to an older blog detailing the problems we have been facing with road markings and other street improvement plans. One month on but it looks as though we will finally get this still standing issue resolved.

This evening I returned to a familiar venue as Martin and I attended the Southwark Playhouse for an very interesting adaptation of Louis De Bernieres’ ‘Sunday Morning at the Centre of the World’. On entering the auditorium audience members were given the choice of experiencing the production with or without a blindfold. A sensory feast followed with some cleverly produced sounds and an array of curious smells!
