LET THERE BE LIGHT!

On this so called day of doom and gloom for the Arts, with the announcement of massive funding cuts, we are moving onwards and upwards. Theatre is not built out of necessity or through finance or legislation – it is borne and run through passion. Nothing is going to quash our vision.

We met on site this morning with one of the UK’s top building lighting designers. An expert on the science of light and daylight, on colour, on perception… a fountain of knowledge… Dominic is one of the most inspiring and enthusiastic people we’ve met. What an absolute joy and privilege to have him on board!

With inspired ideas for lighting the facade, the bar, the theatre houses… and the ability to help us to deliver the very best within our budget, on this day of gloom I say let there be light!
