A DEAD HORSE AND A LOAD OF HEALTHY FOALS
by Jez Bond
Okay so half of today has been spent flogging a dead horse. On one hand I am a realist but on the other there’s the little boy in me that believes in magic. Perhaps after multiple attempts at resuscitation, some major heart surgery, clinical trials of untested drugs, visits from witchdoctors, renegade doctors using advances in molecular technology and stem cell research, the horse may once more acquire a pulse. If not then at least I know I have exhausted all angles.
On the flip side, the other half of the day has been extremely positive. We have made some excellent new connections with people in the industry, politicians, people in the local area and potential new ambassadors. I like to think of these new relationships as the healthy foals in the analogy.
No horses were harmed in the making of this blog. I love animals. It’s just an expression.
