Glen Walford | Director 

Glen was founder and first Artistic Director of London Bubble Theatre Company (1972-1979), Chung-Ying Theatre Company, Hong Kong (1979-1982) and Artistic Director of Everyman Theatre, Liverpool (1982-1989).
Alongside founding and developing theatre projects, a freelance career has included directing many productions in the UK and abroad. Major regional theatre productions include Sheffield Crucible, Coventry Belgrade, Nottingham Playhouse and Bristol Old Vic.
London theatres include Royal Court, Bush, Greenwich, Tricycle and Aldwych.
Touring productions include Cambridge Theatre Company, Bill Kenwright Ltd and English Shakespeare Company (1990/91 production of 'Comedy of Errors') toured UK, Jerusalem Festival, the Ukraine and Moscow).
International productions (in corresponding languages) include: 'Blood Brothers' for Shownote Ltd. in South Korea, 'Rhinoceros' Cameri Theatre, Tel-Aviv, Israel (Hebrew); 'Romeo and Juliet' - Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, Hong Kong (Cantonese); 'Blood Brothers' - Deutsches-Schauspielhaus, Hamburg, West Germany (German); 'Tugau' - Rumpun Seri Drama Sarawak, Borneo (Bahasa-Melanau); 'Prometheus' - Epidaurus Festival, Epidaurus Amphitheatre, Greece (Greek) (also toured Greece and Canada); five Shakespeare productions for Rhyming Theatre Company, Tokyo and 'Blood Brothers' for Shochiku Company, Tokyo and Nagoya (Japanese). 

Last year Glen directed Willy Russell’s ‘Shirley Valentine’, starring Jodie Prenger, in a major tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the play.

 

Kevin Tomlinson | Director 

Kevin is the artistic director of KEPOW! Theatre Company and is a past winner of the Rose Bruford Trust Directors Award. He has directed over 40 plays professionally, including three plays in Singapore for the British Council. He was the Writer-in-Residence for two years at the Northampton Royal and Derngate Theatre and his play Who? - which he also directed - won the Sunday Times Playwright Award.

For six years, Kevin was a regular contributor to the work of the National Theatre in London. His work there, involved teaching numerous workshops in the Studio (for up and coming actors, writers and directors) and working as the artistic consultant on the touring production of A Midsummer Nights Dream for the Education Department (specialising in comedy).

He has worked with the legendary Keith Johnstone (author of Impro) on numerous occasions and directed several world premieres of Keith's plays in both Canada and the UK. Over the past 20 years he has directed and taught in: New Zealand, America, South Korea, Norway, Germany, Holland, France, Hawaii and Hong Kong; not to mention at many top UK drama schools including; Arts Ed, Oxford School of Drama, Mountview and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

 

Magdalene Dorling | Producer

Magdalene graduated from The University of Nottingham with a degree in Ancient History in July 2018. She has been working as a producer throughout her university career and was awarded the Clive Wolfe Bursary in association with the RSC at NSDF 2018. Her credits as a producer include: Rumours (Nottingham New Theatre, Student Writing, May 2017), The Devil You Know (Nottingham New Theatre, Student Writing, Nov 2017) The Devil You Know: A Horror Play (Greenside @ Infirmary Street, Student Writing, in progress Edinburgh production, Aug 2018). She has also worked as an assistant producer where her credits include: The Skriker (Nottingham New Theatre, Jun 2016), Creating Rumours (Greenside @ Nicholson Square, Student writing, in progress Edinburgh production, Aug 2018), Strangers: Pairs (Greenside @ Nicholson Square, Student Writing, in progress Edinburgh production, Aug 2018), Strangers: Mind Reader (Greenside @ Nicholson Square, Student Writing, in progress Edinburgh production, Aug 2018. Her credits as a stage manager include: Mercury Fur by Philip Ridley (The Nottingham New Theatre, Nov 2016), Di and Viv and Rose by Amelia Bullmore (The Nottingham New Theatre, March 2017) Collaborators by John Hodge (The Nottingham New Theatre, Nov 2017), Macbeth by William Shakespeare (The Nottingham New Theatre, Jun 2018).

 

Nomi Everall | Designer 

Nomi is a freelance theatre-maker (designer/technician) and illustrator based in Oxford. She spent 13 years working for Pegasus Theatre as Youth Arts Leader for Technical & Production and later as Head of Production, where she designed and production-managed numerous shows, installations and exhibitions  (most recently: 'Lord of the Flies' 2016, 'Lee Raven Boy Thief' 2015, 'Warzone and The Power Within' 2015)  and specialised in training young technicians and designers.  Nomi is also Company Designer for Fail Better Productions. Nomi's recent work includes set and lighting design for ‘Sole' (Tangled Webb), ‘The Immigrant’ (Chris Michael) and 'Sawdust' (Arts at the Old Fire Station and Crisis Skylight); set, lighting and puppetry design for 'Once Upon A Snowflake' (Paper Balloon); set/costume design for 'Working Christmas' (Arts at the Old Fire Station), ‘Castaways’ and 'Night Light' (Mandala Theatre), 'Aladdin' (Wild Boor Ideas); lighting design for 'BOUND' and 'Contained' (Justice in Motion).
