Park Sessions: Getting Into Your Own Theatre Company with Ryan Calais Cameron

Park Sessions Programme Curator: Holly Adomah Thompson

Due to the nationwide lockdown imposed from 6 January 2021, we have taken the decision to postpone all scheduled Park Sessions events. New dates will be announced once restrictions are eased and bookers will be contacted at that time by our box office team to update their booking. We hope to see all bookers when new dates are announced, but alternatively, bookers can cancel their booking by calling the box office on 020 7870 6876.

Ryan Calais Cameron is an Award-winning playwright and Artistic Director of Theatre Company Nouveau Riche. If you’ve dreamt of starting your own theatre company but don’t know where to start, Ryan will be offering practical tips and advice.

Ryan will discuss the company’s journey, commissioning new work as well as an overview of his portfolio, and how he enjoys finding new creatives to work with and recruit.

This masterclass is also great for those looking to hone their directing skills, as Ryan will offer insight into his directing practice.

Come prepared with your questions for an honest and frank discussion that will inspire and form a part of your journey to starting your own company.
