We are delighted to announce that we are now accepting Spice Time Credits on selected shows as on June 2018.

What are Time Credits?
The model works simply, for each hour that an individual contributes to their community or service, they earn a Time Credit. This Time Credit can then be spent on accessing an hour of activity, such as local attractions, training courses or leisure, or gifted to others. They develop partnerships with public, private and voluntary sectors that enable individuals to access a wide range of positive activities. So if an individual earns 2 Time Credits they can spend their credits and come see a selected show at Park Theatre!

Why have we implemented this?
We are keen to expand our work with the community here in the Finsbury Park area and working with Spice seemed like the best way in which to do this. Volunteering has been proven to have a positive impact not only on the people benefitting from the work in which the volunteers have taken part, but the volunteers are likely to benefit too. Spice completed a survey in 2017 which stated that through their work 63% of their volunteers had felt less isolated and lonely, 69% feel more positive about the future and 79% reported an improvement in their quality of life. We at Park Theatre want to reward those who are giving their time to others, and what better way than getting lost in an excellent piece of theatre.

How it works?
For every 2 Time Credits earned we will give a free ticket to the person who has earned them. These will be available on selected performances and advertisered to Time Credit volunteers through their network.
