Park Younger Company 12-14 Spring 2021

2 March 2021 - 30 March 2021

What is it?

This is a weekly Zoom course for young people aged 12 - 14 who enjoy working with scripts and bringing characters to life!

Course Content

Week 1: In this session we will play some fun acting and team building games, using our voices and physicality. We will then go on to explore a variety of scripts from NT Connections and adaptations of stories by your favourite authors like David Walliams, Malorie Blackman, Roald Dahl and more!

Week 2: We will play games and explore the many fun ways we can use our voices and bodies to create different characters and bring them to life from the pages of the scripts.

Week 3: In this session we will explore what a professional rehearsal room for actors looks like and continue to work on our chosen script and parts.

Week 4: In this session, young actors will continue to enjoy the rehearsal process discussing additional elements like costumes, props and sound effects.

Week 5: In this final week, we share a fun and pressure-free rehearsed reading celebrating all your ideas and hard-work!
